Recruit

This one was recruited into my collection for a very, very brief time.
It’s my brothers every day carry SAK and it hasn’t been serviced ever.
I offered to give it a good clean and sharpen the blades.

The Recruit is an interesting SAK, at 84 mm and with no back tools this is a very sleek SAK that packs a lot of functions.

It was very grimey and the blades completely dull.
I brushed most dirt off with a brush, oiled the SAK to let the dirt marinate and the next day I gave it a ‘Bacta treatment’ (sonic bath with soap).
After that I sharpened both blades and returned the Recruit to it’s rightful owner.
